SHIPPING POLICY OVERVIEW

Hi and thanks for considering shopping with us here at Chopped Chile Co! We take our chile very seriously and want to make sure you have all the info before placing your order! 

Chopped Chile Co's fulfillment team ships all orders out within 3 business days after receiving the order. Extra care is taken to ensure the safe delivery of glass chile jars and fresh products. Your order will arrive via UPS or USPS in a brown cardboard box with our name (Chopped Chile Co) and facility address as the ship from location. 

All Frozen Chile ships via UPS 2-Day Shipping or UPS Next Air (depending on customer choice at checkout) with ice packs and insulated bags on Tuesdays only. Why Tuesdays only? This is to ensure that your chile will arrive in 2 business days still cool to the touch and so that the weekend does not affect shipping times. UPS and USPS do not count weekends as normal shipping days - so we like to make sure to leave no room for error. To keep your chile “chilly” during shipment we wrap the chile in insulated packaging with ice packs. Your chile should arrive cool enough to refreeze and use as desired. We recommend selecting UPS Next Day Air shipping at checkout but give you the option to choose UPS 2-Day Shipping as well. Chopped Chile Co. takes no liability for Frozen Chile shipments that arrive thawed or warm unless UPS Next Day Air is the chosen shipment method. 

Please note, all subscription orders for Frozen Hatch Green Chile will default to UPS 2-Day Air Shipping. To upgrade your shipping method to UPS Next Day Air (recommended) contact us via the Contact Us Form or via email at choppedchileco@gmail.com after checkout.

You will also receive an email update from us as the order is processed and shipped which will include the tracking information you need while you wait for your chile! We ship your chile late Tuesday night, so there is less time between our shipment and you receiving your chile on. Because of this, expect to receive your tracking information late Tuesday night or even Wednesday morning. 

WHOLESALE SHIPPING POLICY

We are dedicated to providing our clients with the best in service and quality. Below, you will find detailed information regarding our wholesale shipping procedures.

1. Order Pickup and Shipping Hours

  • Business Hours for Pickup: Our facility is open for order pickups from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
  • Weekend Pickups: Our facility is closed Saturdays and Sundays, however, if a weekend pick-up is requested and one of our staff is available we will assess an additional fee of $50 for the pick-up to cover the associated cost of opening our facility during non-business hours.

2. Freight Shipping

  • Freight Options: We offer shipping via freight for larger orders. This ensures your order is handled with care and efficiency.
  • Arranging Freight: Customers are responsible for arranging their own freight shipping. Please ensure that your chosen freight service is informed of our business hours for pickups.

3. Less Than Truckload (LTL) Shipping

  • LTL Pickups: For customers opting for LTL shipping, a dock appointment is mandatory. Customers are responsible for arranging their own freight shipping. Please ensure that your chosen freight service is informed of our business hours for pickups.
  • Scheduling Appointments: All dock appointments must be scheduled with our customer service department. To schedule, please contact us at choppedchileco@gmail.com
  • Appointment Confirmation: Our team will confirm your appointment time and provide all necessary details for a smooth pickup process.

  • Order Processing Time: Please allow a standard processing time of 5 business days for your order before scheduling pickups.
